Updated September 29, 2026 · Free release and account-enabled builds
Saltwater Stories is published by Llewellyn Collymore. This notice explains the game's data practices and this support website. The free App Store release 1.0 has no game accounts, advertising, or real-money purchases. Account-enabled test builds and future releases have the additional practices explained below; feature availability depends on your installed version.
Free release 1.0
The free game saves the merge board, earned coins, restoration progress, story choices, deductions, decorations, and preferences on your device. It does not upload that progress to a game account or cloud-save service. You do not need to create an account.
This release does not include advertising, real-money purchases, a saved-wallet service, or developer-operated gameplay analytics. It does not request advertising tracking permission.
Account-enabled builds
When you create a game account, Supabase processes your email address, password authentication, account identifier, session information, and technical request information. Your email is used for account confirmation, password recovery, and account-related support. Resend delivers confirmation and recovery emails. We do not ask you to send your password to support.
We save your energy balance, purchased-coin balance, purchase and refund records, reward claims, and wallet spending with your account. These records support reliable delivery and prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards. Café boards, story choices, and renovation progress remain saved on the device; an account does not currently provide full cloud-save recovery.
Purchases, where available
Apple processes iPhone payments. We and RevenueCat use purchase identifiers, product details, purchase history, and an account-linked game identifier to validate transactions, deliver coins, handle refunds, and understand purchase activity. We do not receive your full payment-card information. Sandbox purchases are tests and do not constitute real payments. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Optional rewarded ads, where available
When available, you choose whether to watch a rewarded ad. Google Mobile Ads may process network addresses and approximate location, device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to provide, measure, and protect advertising. Available privacy choices depend on your region and the configured ad service. Our server receives reward-verification information linked to your game account, including a reward request and transaction identifier, to credit each valid reward once. Closing an ad early does not guarantee a reward. See Google's privacy policy.
Account deletion and retention
In builds with deletion enabled, open Account → Delete account and confirm your password. If that option is unavailable, use the account deletion page or contact support. Deletion removes the active game account, its saved wallet and energy records, and its RevenueCat customer record. The app clears account-specific data on that device after confirmation. Deletion cannot erase copies already stored on another device.
We retain one-way purchase-identifier fingerprints to prevent a deleted purchase from being credited again. Store records, support correspondence, service logs, and backup copies may be retained where needed for security, transaction obligations, or provider retention schedules. Deleting a game account does not request an Apple refund. Contact us about access, correction, or deletion requests.
These services may process information outside your country. See Supabase's privacy policy and Resend's privacy policy. Account-enabled versions are intended for players aged 13 and older. If you believe a younger child has created an account, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.
Support messages and website visits
If you email support, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate problems. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or account recovery links.
Support email is handled through Google. This help website is hosted through Sites. These providers may process network information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect their services. This website does not add an analytics tracker. See Google's privacy policy and OpenAI's privacy policy. Providers may process information outside your country.
Apple handles App Store distribution and any platform diagnostics you choose to share under Apple's privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting information
Use the game's gear button and Reset saved progress to erase the local café save. Removing the app's data also removes local progress; device backups may retain copies. There is no free-release game account to delete and no cloud restore offered by the game.
Support correspondence is retained while needed to handle requests and follow-up issues. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. We may need to verify ownership and may retain records required for legal or security purposes. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention arrangements.
Earlier testing accounts
Earlier test builds offered accounts, sandbox wallets, and test advertisements. These are not part of the free App Store release 1.0. Existing testers can still use the account deletion instructions and earlier testing privacy notice. Existing account recovery links remain supported by this website.
Children and privacy questions
The free game does not ask players to provide personal information. If a child sends personal information to support, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its removal.
Changes
We will update this notice if the game's data practices change. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to the address below.
